Veelzijdigheid in grafisch- en illustratief werk is altijd aanwezig geweest bij Linda. Al vele jaren is zij een bekende externe medewerker bij verschillende oogartsen in Het Oogziekenhuis Rotterdam. Voor lezingen, proefschriften en wetenschappelijke artikelen kunnen schema’s en/of illustraties van haar een verhelderend inzicht geven.
Dion Paridaens (Ocuplastische en orbitale chirurg) is één van deze artsen van Het Oogziekenhuis. Een aantal jaren geleden is hij samen met een tweetal andere oogartsen uit Italië en Groot Brittannië aan een omvangrijke uitgave begonnen over zijn specialistische vakgebied van de oogheelkunde nl.:

Een uitgave die uit twee delen bestaat. Het eerste deel, Volume 1, heeft 700 pagina’s en Volume 2, ruim 600 pagina’s. Operatieve handelingen en functies worden in ruim 1300 pagina’s met behulp van Illustraties verhelderend weergegeven.
Voor deze zeer specialistische illustraties heeft Jessica M. Leenen, MA, Medical and Ophthalmological artistic illustrator uit België haar medewerking gegeven.
Volgens aanwijzingen van de artsen heeft Jessica de afgelopen jaren honderden illustraties vervaardigd voor deze uitgaven. Alle illustraties zijn op traditionele wijze op papier getekend met gebruik van kleurpotloden. In samenwerking met Jessica zijn de illustraties/tekeningen door Linda Zoon en Hans Hunefeld in perfectie gedigitaliseerd en op kleur gecorrigeerd.

Linda has always had versatility in graphic and illustrative work. For many years she has been a well-known external employee at various ophthalmologists in The Rotterdam Eye Hospital. Her diagrams and/or illustrations can provide illuminating insight for lectures, dissertations and scientific articles.
Dion Paridaens (Ocuplastic and orbital surgeon) is one of these doctors at The Rotterdam Eye Hospital. A number of years ago, together with two other ophthalmologists from Italy and Great Britain, he started an extensive publication on his specialist field of ophthalmology:

An edition consisting of two parts. The first part, Volume 1, has 700 pages and Volume 2, over 600 pages. Operative actions and functions are clearly illustrated in more than 1,300 pages with the help of illustrations.
Jessica M. Leenen, MA, Medical and Ophthalmological artistic illustrator from Belgium, contributed to these highly specialized illustrations. Following the doctors’ instructions, Jessica has produced hundreds of illustrations for these publications in recent years. All illustrations are drawn analogously on paper using colored pencils. In collaboration with Jessica, the illustrations/drawings were digitized and color corrected to perfection by Linda Zoon and Hans Hunefeld.

De gehele regie en organisatie van de Illustraties lag in handen bij Jessica M. Leenen. Via een nauwkeurige communicatie ontvingen wij de aanpassingen. Vele illustraties moesten digitaal aangepast worden en o.a. voorzien worden van operatieve instructies. Enkele voorbeelden van deze communicatie.
The entire direction and organization of the Illustrations was in the hands of Jessica M. Leenen. We received the adjustments through accurate communication. Many illustrations had to be digitally adjusted and, among other things, provided with operative instructions. Some examples of this communication.
Bewerkte Illustraties
Alle illustraties zijn door Jessica M. Leenen traditioneel minutieus op papier met kleurpotloden geïllustreerd. Daarna zijn ze professioneel gedigitaliseerd en op kleur gecorrigeerd. Wijzigingen en aanpassingen kunnen volgens dit proces alleen digitaal, evenals het aanbrengen van de operatieve instructies en lijntekeningen.
Hieronder is een selectie te zien uit Volume 1. Van enkele pagina’s heeft Linda Zoon volgens directe briefing van artsen ook verschillende illustraties gemaakt. Een aantal instructieve lijn illustraties in het boek zijn van Linda.

Edited Illustrations
All illustrations are traditionally meticulously illustrated on paper with colored pencils by Jessica M. Leenen. Then they were professionally digitized and color corrected. Changes and adjustments can only be made digitally according to this process, as can the application of the operative instructions and line drawings.
Below is a selection from Volume 1. Linda Zoon also made several illustrations of some pages, according to direct briefing from doctors. A number of instructional line illustrations in the book are by Linda.
